"I heard you on the radio"
This past Wednesday, February 9th, I brought three of my good friends to the radio station Z95.5 with me to record some drops. It was a blast. While Kelly and Atsede had to leave relatively early, Hannah stayed with me for the entire time and we ended up recording A LOT. We ended up having to make this jingle- type song to the beat of 'Bass Down Low' by Dev. It took quite a few tries but Hannah and I were pretty good with staying in sync with each other. Anthony, the DJ who's show i intern on, then wanted us to record a drop which made absolutely no sense simply so we would be saying "ass", "I really want to swear!" is what he kept saying. I ended up telling him it made no sense and I came up with my own drop which he actually really liked, had us record, and then figured out how to change it once the weather becomes warmer to keep it on air. The next day, my friend Angela told me that she had heard me the previous night, which only happens once in a while that people actually happen to catch the times that I'm on air. Later that night, I was sitting in my car listening to Z95.5 and I heard Hannah come on with a "We're in New York! We gotta do it big!" drop. It was really cool to hear.
